Music for the Hope!
Italy as protected are 35 days (five weeks) . A serene Easter Monday..
Today just a few lines to show you an intimate but emotional moment we lived yesterday thanks to Andrea Bocelli singing from the Duomo church in Milan. Andrea accepted the invitation of the Duomo and the city of Milan, to sing from one of the most known places in Italy, the Duomo in Milan. Personally it was a goosebump emotion both for the music, Bocelli’s voice and the sense of a secular prayer, every believer or not could do.
This is the track list:
Panis Angelicus (from “Messe Solennelle” Op. 12, FWV 61) César Franck
Ave Maria, CG 89a (arr. from Johann Sebastian Bach, “Prelude” no. 1, BWV 846) Charles-François Gounod
Sancta Maria (arr. from “Cavalleria Rusticana”, Intermezzo) Pietro Mascagni
Domine Deus (from “Petite Messe Solennelle”) Gioachino Antonio Rossini
Amazing Grace John Newton
